She was also incredibly patient with us as we figured out our own tastes and priorities, and as those evolved over time, and quickly took on new information to adapt her advice and search strategy. We found her to be always accessible — we would often email her at all hours of the day with random listings we’d seen, and promptly hear back with well researched information and thoughtful opinions. She has an extensive network and was often able to get us additional information very quickly directly from the sellers’ agents.

Eileen was often available on very short notice to attend open houses and, more recently, to set up individual visits to listings during COVID. She was frank with her opinions but never imposed her own tastes on us. At the same time, she was always willing and able to send us resources to help us educate ourselves on the pros and cons of various options. Going through the process of making an offer with Eileen was a calm, reaffirming and stress-free (as much as first-time home-buying can be) experience. She was able to source and book a structural engineer for an inspection on less than 12 hours’ notice. During the escrow and closing process, she was constantly on top of next steps and calmly held our hands through a few minor bumps.

Even after we’d closed, she had ready recommendations for movers and contractors. We definitely hope to work with Eileen again in the future!
