It’s always a pleasure to help my clients with good investments, and my sale that closed this week at 8100 Oceanview Terrace #220 is a great example of one such investment. The back story: My client purchased a one-bedroom condo in Oceanview Village back in 2015. But he subsequently got married and had a baby, and his family was in need of more space.
When a two-bedroom unit came on the market, we jumped on it. My client consulted with Karen McDowell at Bank of the West, and she helped him strategize so that he was able to make an offer on the two-bedroom condo before he had to sell his one bedroom. (Let’s just say that an offer contingent on selling another property won’t often fly in the competitive world of San Francisco real estate.)
We made a very competitive offer and the sellers selected ours out of the six offers they received. Listed for $728,000, #220 sold for $750,000.
My client is now able to have more space, and we’re getting ready to sell his one bedroom. (Stay tuned for details on that one, coming soon!)
Congratulations, Santa Ram, and much thanks to Karen McDowell and Michelle Patterson at First American Title.
