Ten years ago today, I published my first blog post. We were in the midst of the financial crisis, and there was a lot of uncertainty, trepidation and anxiety among pretty much everyone thinking of buying or selling property.
San Francisco real estate has gone through its ups and downs over the past decade, and we’re fortunate to be enjoying a strong economy and seeing high sales volumes. The market has hit its peaks and valleys (with the current one being somewhere in between), and I’ve tried to adhere to my editorial mission—providing from-the-trenches info, tips and advice for buyers and sellers that will help them make sense of our wild world of SF real estate, and help them make better decisions.
As I reflect upon all the new clients and friends I’ve met in the past ten years only because they came across my blog and got in touch, I feel incredibly blessed. I had no idea what to expect when I decided to put my journalism skills to use as a real estate agent.
Thanks to all of you—my current and future clients, and regular readers—for your support over the past ten years!
